“Rolling-Rock Fair”: a summer exhibition at Matsudai Nohbutai Gallery

Summer lights up Satoyama with greens and Matsudai Nohbutai and Joyama area will presents a special exhibition this summer for you to experience play in nature and mountains. Try Bouldering Gym Share's bouldering produced by asoview! or put yourself together to jump as high as 7 meters! Listen to a music played by rolling wooden bolls over "Yama-asobi xylophone” by Shinya Kiyokawa (invisi dir.) in Joyama.
Don't forget sneak-peek one of the new artworks for ETAT2018 "hi 8 way" by John Körmeling called who is known for his artwork "Step in Plan" in Matsunoyama. You will enjoy the fantastic view of satoyama landscape in summer (to be open from end of July).
You can also join "stamp-rally" to collect stamps as you explore artworks and nature around Nohbutai and Joyama area. We look forward to your visit to Matsudai Nohbutai this summer.

Shinya Kiyokawa (invisi dir.)

Music composer. He is specialised in sampling (a music collecting environmental sounds and reconstruct them) and creates music piece consisting of filming and recording of sounds. He explores alternative expressions and produces many works for advertisements under the concept of "expanding music" and pursues creativity that exsits in visions as well as unexplored functions of music. His work, "TOUCH WOOD SH-08C" in 2011 for NTT docomo won three awards in Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
